Fullstack Developer for AI R&D (all genders)

Are you a Fullstack developer curious about the world of AI? Would you like to apply your skills in a rapidly growing tech field, while actively shaping real products across multiple media platforms? If so, this is your chance to explore how applied AI can enhance real-world systems—not just in theory, but in production.

Your responsibilities:

AI Integration and Development:
  • You will build simple and impactful web applications that integrate our media delivery systems with third-party AI SaaS tools.
  • You will implement PoCs (proofs of concept) and showcase outcomes to internal stakeholders during agile sprint demos.
  • You will co-define project scopes and experiment directions with the Product Owner, playing a key role in strategic AI explorations.
  • You will explore and integrate the latest AI APIs into scalable solutions supporting our media streaming and distribution technologies.
  • You will actively contribute to building the next generation of AI-powered tools for the OTT ecosystem.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Innovation:
  • You will work closely with cloud, product, and research teams to develop innovative streaming and broadcast solutions.
  • You will help translate business needs into AI-enabled features and services.
  • You will support internal teams with technical expertise and documentation of implemented AI workflows.
  • You will proactively bring in new ideas, technologies, and methods to push innovation in media tech and content delivery.

Your skills that inspire us:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Fullstack Developer.
  • Experience with at least one backend and one frontend language – preferably Python and React.
  • Comfortable working with cloud platforms – AWS is a plus.
  • Experience working with AI tools, APIs, or ML-based services.
  • Independent, curious, and passionate about solving complex problems with code.
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken – German is a plus.
  • Bonus points if you’ve worked with .NET 6, OTT platforms, or AI in media contexts.

Here's what we're proposing for you:

In addition to an annual salary in line with the market, we offer you a package of benefits consisting of a mobility allowance for the Wiener Linien annual ticket or the Austrian climate ticket, a company canteen, our bonus programme, the pension fund and a sports programme.

Place of work: Vienna (remote option), working hours: 38,5hours per week, reference number: OC1025CIN, starting date: 07/2025. We are happy to offer professionals with relevant training and experience a gross annual salary in line with the market of between 48,000 and 60,000 euros (salary group 4, Telekom-KV, 38,5 h/week)*.

Remote work
Good communication and direct cooperation are very important to us. You can work from home, from the modern office or hybrid. In practice, this means that, according to your preferences, you will benefit from working remotely or from an office in Vienna with a great location and a cool atmosphere. We will be happy to talk about the details in a meeting.

*For legal reasons, we are required to state the minimum salary as per the collective agreement. For this position, it is €3,413.78 gross/month (Qualification Group 4, Specialist Level, Telekom collective agreement, full-time).
