Your future role:

Mobile Product Development Manager (5G Broadcast), all genders

Your responsibilities:

  • Drive the development of our 5G Broadcast applications by shaping and supervising the entire development lifecycle, from initial planning to full implementation.
  • Work closely with our mobile engineering and development team to define technical product requirements, prioritize tasks, guide the mobile development process and support the testing team during releases.
  • Collaborate with product management to define product strategies that enhance market presence and profitability.
  • Act as a catalyst for continuous improvement and innovation in our products ensuring they remain cutting-edge and optimized for user experience.
  • In interdisciplinary project teams, you will coordinate with departments like IT, Legal, Marketing, and Customer Service to align our product vision with business goals.

Your skills that inspire us:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information and Communication Engineering, Embedded Systems or similar field, or several years of experience as a Mobile Software Developer.
  • 2-5 years of experience in managing software development projects or  as software developer (Full-stack or C++).
  • Good understanding of mobile technology stacks and the ability to balance both technical and business perspectives.
  • Hands-on mentality and passion for creating sustainable products that blend technical innovation and commercial success.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Strong commitment to teamwork, with great time.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities with a focus on mobile solutions.
  • Analytical skills to understand performance data and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
  • Basic understanding of the German language.
Experience in the following fields may be a plus:
  • Coordinating tasks and leading mobile engineering teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions
  • Mobile Communication Technologies (e.g., 3GPP, 4G, 5G)
  • Knowledge of FeMBMS, LTE-based 5G Terrestrial Broadcast or Mission Critical Communication Systems
  • Familiarity with Streaming Technologies and App Development for mobile platforms.
  • Experience as electronic hardware and software design, prototyping.

Here's what we're proposing for you:

In addition to an annual salary in line with the market, we offer you a package of benefits consisting of a mobility allowance for the Wiener Linien annual ticket or the Austrian climate ticket, a company canteen, our bonus programme, the pension fund and a sports programme.

Place of work: Vienna (remote option), working hours: 38,5hours per week, reference number: OC1024CIN, starting date: 12/2024. We are happy to offer professionals with relevant training and experience a gross annual salary in line with the market of between 59,000 and 70,000 euros (salary group 4, Telekom-KV, 38,5 h/week)*.

Remote work
Good communication and direct cooperation are very important to us. You can work from home, from the modern office or hybrid. In practice, this means that, according to your preferences, you will benefit from working remotely or from an office in Vienna with a great location and a cool atmosphere. *For legal reasons, we are obliged to state a minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement, which for this position is 3,201.98 gross/month (category 4/specialist level, Telekom-KV, 40 h/week).
